Support at Home is the Australian Government program that helps pay for services like domestic help, personal care and nursing — delivered in your own home, not in a facility.
You're given a care budget
Based on your assessed needs, you're allocated a budget. That money is yours to spend on approved services with a provider you choose — like Silvergrace.
A provider delivers the services
We roster carers and nurses, handle the paperwork, and send you a simple statement each month showing what was spent — or, if you choose Self-Managed Care, we support you to organise this yourself.

Common questions
Who is eligible for Support at Home?+
Most people aged 65 and over (or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) who need help to stay living at home can apply. Eligibility is confirmed through a My Aged Care assessment.
Does Support at Home cost anything?+
The government funds the program, but some everyday living and independence services may involve an income-tested contribution. Clinical supports like nursing carry no participant contribution.
